My Philosophy

We live in a fast world and who we are today will be different from who we are tomorrow. I recognize these changes in my own life, with my own children and I strive to capture each moment, because tomorrow that brief period of excellence or interest may not repeat itself. I live by this philosophy in my own life and try to preserve each moment as it were the last.

Photography is more than just a job for me, it is my goose bumps, my jump up and down on the bed passion. I have an eye for family photography that doesn’t require the matching white T’s and jeans. I am not looking out to capture the flawless traditional portraits, but the portraits that portray the real you, the person you are everyday. So leave the perfect outfit at home and forget about fixing your hair in a way you would normally not wear and show up as the real you! Show up in your favorite jeans with the hole in the knee and you're not so perfect hair, your child with their candy stained face from the ride in. Have fun, be real, just be your true self.

My work has been described as being spontaneous, and real. I like to think of it as candid and emotional. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children and I have been photographing the BIG and little people in my life for the past 10 years.
